 Race Results: Street Legal FINALS (31OCT2009)

 This was the last and most exciting Street Legal Pointstanding race for this year.
The final race was very close in all 3 categories.
Just like last year double victory for Otmar Conradus (VW Golf VR6) by winning Street Bracket and back-to-back
Street Bracket Pointseries Champion. The 2nd place for this night of racing went to Javier Augusta (Starlet Turbo).
In Heavy Bracket Tito Godfried (Starlet Turbo) takes 1st place and Johnny Verplaats (Nissan Silvia) 2nd place.
Rendolf Torbed wins Street ET Bike leaving Heinrich Justiana in 2nd position.

We hope you didn't miss this final race, cause we told you to be there.
In May 2009 we posted a survey asking who will be the first street car in the 9 seconds.
This was the result:
You probably almost forgot about that survey, right? 37.75% got it right!
This final race on his 2nd pass, Ryan Simoons introduced his Ryso-Tech Starlet with a
spectacular wheelstand! [YouTube Wheelstand Video]
If that was not enough he accomplished what everybody was hoping for.
Ryan Simoons managed to put the power to the ground and become the fastest street cars with a
first run of ET 9.961 @ 137.84 MPH followed by an ET 9.842 @ 138.80 MPH.

Congratulations to all racers who fought hard to get into the top 10 for each category.
Below you will see the full top 10 list instead of the usual top 3 for each category.
On Saturday 28 November at Ronde Klip everybody in the top 10 will receive an award on
behalf of Fundashon Autosport Curaçao (FAC)
