 Race Results: Street Legal (05SEP2009)

 This was Street Legal Pointstanding race #7. There are 2 more races to go this season.
A remarkable ending for all categories with all 3 final races ending with 3 redlights.
Easy win for Andy Bonifacio (Toyota Starlet) in Street Bracket due to redlight by
Patrick Raven (Mazda 323) in the finals.
Virgil Henriquez (Plymouth Duster) also wins the Heavy Bracket category due to redlight
by Robbie Walle (Camaro Z-28) in the final race.
Another redlight in Street ET Bike by Kenrick "Kenchi" Berkemeyer (Suzuki GSX-R) gave
Rendolf Torbed (Suzuki GSX) also an easy win.

Races started a little late due to electrical problems with one power generator but that
didn't stop the action. Neither the fact the most bikes didn't arrive yet from their last
international race at Palo Marga, Aruba cause most racers used a "spare/borrowed" bike to compete.
The races ended on time as scheduled due to the fact that there were no oildowns and just
broken axles due to the new concrete starting area which was "very sticky".
Coming back to the results from our participation at Palo Margo we have must say that our racers
brought home 2 trophees.
First one went to Kenrick "Kenchi" Berkemeyer (Suki Racing) for 1st Place in the Sportsman Bike
Category.
And the 2nd went to Shannon Rosalina (Roadster "UnBelievable") for 2nd Place in the
Box Category on race day 3.
Looking at the poinstanding we can see that all top positions are very close.
At this point anything can happened during the next upcoming 2 races.
For example in Street ET Bike Edburth Broos had a very confortable advantage of
about 90 points which is now only 20 points!
We still have 2 races to go for the total of 9 races this season.
Only the best 7 races will summarize the total pointseries points.
