Seeing back we can conclude that we have succeeded again in organizing the Biggest Drag Race Event Of the Caribbean.
We hope everybody has enjoyed this event and the races. Even if you weren't here to enjoy our races personally we hope you have enjoyed the coverage and news/pictures we have provided you.

The next generation of racers Virgil Henriquez (Mr Holley 2, Curacao) beats Joselito Martis (Barnol, Aruba)
to win the grand prize of Criollo Bracket.
Steven Soeterboek (Kawasaki ZX12R) beats Reno Best (Hayabusa) to become the winner of Quick32 Bike.
Osman Osman (Pontiac Firebird "Baloul") wins Super Modified Stock A. 2nd Place for Johannes De Boer (Dodge Avenger "Mr Holley IV".

Race Results: Battle Of Speed 2008 - Day 2 UPDATED

Overall it was another great day of speed! Delays caused by oil down made it impossible to finish all the scheduled races.
With only 3 races left authorities gave orders to close up the day. Import Class & Pro ET Bike still to run the final races on DAY 3.
Andy Sotelo (Orense Racing, Camaro) wins Super Street while Sherwin Lindeborg (Camaro "Top Gun 1") ends 2nd place.
Kenrick Berkemeyer (SRAD 1000) beats Steven Soeterboek (Kawasaki ZX-12R) in Super Comp Bike finals.
Champion Super Comp category Jerry Trappenberg (Pickup S-10 "Orkan"), Karim Kardusli (Camaro "Anna Karim) from
Venezuela ends 2nd place.

Arturo Mambi (Camaro "Mambi Racing") wins ET Bracket while Marlon Rock (Starlet Turbo "Rock Racing") ends 2nd.
Danilo Nammour (Mustang "Zapato Grande") from Venezuela wins Super Gas followed by Arthur Zimmerman (Camaro "Follow Me") at 2nd place.
In the Street ET Bike Category Rendolf Torbed (Merite Racing (Suzuki GSX) beats Raymich Martis (Hayabusa) in the finals.
Easy win for Karim Kardusli (Camaro "Anna Karim") from Venezuela in the Super Pro Comp category.

Race Results Street Legal (26APR2007)

Otmar Conradus (Golf VR6 "La Viagra") wins Street Bracket and takes the #1 position in the pointstanding. Jairzinho Kowsolea (Nissan Silvia) ends 2nd place.
Virgil Henriquez (Plymouth Duster "X-treme Duster") unbeatable in the Heavy Bracket category. Shannon Rosalina (Roadster "Unbelievable") takes 2nd place.
Steven Soeterboek (Kawasaki ZX-13R "Bessie") beats Andy Neman (Hayabusa Turbo) and takes the lead again in the Street ET Bike category.

Car Dyno Shop Officially Opened

Yesterday was a great day for tuners on the island and also for Ryso-Tech Racing Team.
They are currenlty the proud owners of the one and only Car Dyno Shop on the island.

14 Vehicles from Venezuela Already on the island

We are counting down for International Drag Race Battle Of Speed. This year we are very happy to see such a huge amount of participants from Venezuela. Yesterday 14 vehicles arrived with the Don Andres vessel and today all cleared customs waiting from their drivers to arrive on the island.

Two of these vehicles are extremely dangerous. Last year (April 2007) they ended being Champions in Super Stock B, Super Street and ET Bracket respectively! So they are coming to defend their titles...

Pontiac "The Professor" from Venezuela ready for Battle Of Speed

We have received very good news from Venezuela.
One of the vehicles arriving soon on the island from Venezuela is the vehicle named "The Professor". Proud owner Alcides Gimenez will be debuting his new car with a new 638 cubic inch engine.

The Professor is expecting to run in the 6 seconds and will be teaching some lessons in the Outlaw Class against King Kong IV (Curacao) and Berlynn Express (Puerto Rico).

International Battle Of Speed 2008

In preparation of the upcoming International Drag Race Battle Of Speed, there was a press conference last week at the track.
We can confirm that the grand prize for the biggest category CRIOLLO BRACKET is set to Nafl 15.000 / $ 8242 ( thanks to the sponsors). One the the highest payouts in the history of the sport IN THE CARIBBEAN.

In Heavy Bracket Virgil Henriguez (Plymouth Duster) wins again, Ivar Abath (Starlet Turbo) ends at 2nd place.
In the Street ET Bike Category Roderick Trenidad (Suzuki GSX-R 1000) takes 1st place and
2nd place goes to Kenrick Berkemeyer (SRAD 1000). Outstanding Performance by Ulrick Malasia, twice in a row he got a perfect reaction time of .000!
